A narrow, tightly-coiled tube that is attached to each of the testicles (the male sex glands that produce sperm). Sperm cells (male reproductive cells) move from the testicles into the epididymis, where they finish maturing and are stored. The elongated structure connected to the posterior surface of the testis that transports, stores, and matures spermatozoa between testis and vas deferens. A crescent-like structure located adjacent to the testis. It consists of a single highly coiled duct and is divided into 3 regions: caput (head), corpus (body) and cauda (tail). |
