Laryngomalacia is a congenital abnormality of the laryngeal cartilage in which the cartilage is floppy and prolapses over the larynx during inspiration. Laryngomalacia may affect the epiglottis, the arytenoid cartilages, or both. It is the most common cause of congenital stridor. |
